I am a graduate student in the Philosophy Department at Johns Hopkins University with broad interests in ethics, especially foundational issues. I am a proponent of ethical veganism, which I defend from within a virtue-ethical framework, rejecting the traditional dilemma between utilitarian and rights-based approaches. Outside of philosophy, I enjoy cycling, video games, poetry, and anything and everything Star Wars (well, not the Prequel Trilogy). I recently discovered indoor climbing.
